Spotify : https://open.spotify.com/artist/2dLKkyJWRjsNafzYEj6l9E

 1. Review Spotify for Artists

  • Check top 3 songs: streams, saves, playlist adds
  • Look at top listener cities/countries
  • Monitor Release Radar/Discover Weekly spikes
  • Track new followers gained
  • Note any curator playlist adds

Tip: Journal what’s working. Over time, you’ll see patterns.

 2. Post on Socials (3–5x/week)

  • Tease or perform part of your latest (or upcoming) song
  • Share behind-the-scenes content (studio, writing, artwork)
  • Repost fan comments, duets, or reactions
  • Use trending TikTok/IG Reels audio (with your music layered in)
  • Drop a call-to-action: “Follow me on Spotify!”

Tip: Focus on short-form video. Hook viewers in the first 2 seconds.

 3. Promote Smart Links

  • Update your smart link in bio (Koji, ToneDen, etc.)
  • Share it in at least one new place this week (Reddit, FB group, Discord, DM list, etc.)
  • Test different messaging: “Start your day with this ,” “Who else needs this vibe?”

Tip: Use your smart link to track what platforms drive the most clicks.

 4. Pitch to Playlists

  • Submit new/unreleased music to Spotify Editorial (if timing lines up)
  • Submit to 3+ user-curated playlists via SubmitHub, Groover, or DMs
  • Create or update your own playlist with a strong theme
  • Add your song to that playlist and promote it

Tip: Thank curators who add you. Build real relationships.

 5. Engage with Fans

  • Reply to at least 5 DMs or comments
  • Ask a question on Stories or TikTok
  • Share a fan video, message, or screenshot
  • Drop a “thank you” post or story

Tip: Think of fans as collaborators. Your job is to make them feel seen.

 6. Log Your Wins & Growth

  • Followers this week: _____
  • Monthly listeners: _____
  • Top city: ____________
  • Most added song to playlists: ____________
  • Most engaged post (TikTok/IG): ____________

Tip: Treat this like training. One week may be slow, but momentum builds.

Stick to this checklist 4 weeks in a row and you’ll see measurable growth—in data, in fanbase, and in confidence.
