Step-by-Step: How to Upload Beats
1. Log in & Open the Upload Page
Go to your BeatStars Dashboard
Click Upload at the top, then choose Tracks
2. Fill in Beat Details
Title: Clear and searchable (e.g., "Dark Trap Type Beat – Pain x Rod Wave")
Type: Choose “Beat/Instrumental”
Genres: Select 1–2 relevant genres
Tags: Use up to 10 searchable terms (e.g., trap, emotional, guitar, Drake)
3. Upload Audio Files
MP3 File – Required (used for streaming)
WAV File – Optional (higher quality for leasing)
Trackouts/Zip – Optional but recommended for premium and exclusive buyers
Make sure the files are tagged, mixed well, and normalized to a standard volume
4. Set Licenses & Pricing
Choose which licenses you want to offer:
MP3 Lease
WAV Lease
Trackout Lease
Exclusive Rights
Set your prices (you can also use presets or custom license templates)
5. Add Cover Art (Optional but Recommended)
Use 1:1 square image (min. 800x800px)
